How did you get into design and marketing?
Design has been a passion of mine ever since I received my first kiddie easel as a child. As I grew, I dedicated myself to honing my skills through advanced art and multi-media graphics courses, and took on small freelance projects creating logos, flyers, and other materials. Over the years, I have evolved my skill set to include marketing, strategy, and web design, and I am always looking for new ways to challenge myself and grow as a professional. Whether you are in need of a new logo, a comprehensive marketing plan, or a website refresh, I am ready to bring my passion and expertise to your project and help you succeed.

How did retail help you in your marketing and design career?
My time working in retail has been invaluable in shaping my skills and abilities as a designer and marketer. From developing leadership and teamwork skills, to learning about customer service and selling techniques, my retail experience has given me a unique perspective on consumer psychology and how to nurture and sustain a loyal customer base. I have also gained a strong understanding of how to identify and address the pain points of my clients, which is crucial to being a leader in any market. These experiences have helped me become a resourceful and adaptable professional, and I am excited to bring my diverse skill set to any project or challenge.
Did you go to school for design or marketing?
Yes. I actually started in high school through the local technology school studying multi-media graphics. I later joined Ivy Tech and obtained my Visual Communication degree. I then took my earned credits onwards to IUPUI where I earned my bachelors in Media Arts and Science, concentrating in Digital Storytelling and Marketing. I also completed my certification in Human Computer Interaction. I have a goal to go back for my masters degree at a later time.
Why did you choose to work with education, tech and service industries?
As a creative professional with a passion for the education, tech, and service industries, I have a unique skill set that allows me to bring value to a wide range of projects. From my earliest days creating flyers, business cards, and logos, to my current work making complex subjects more accessible and interactive, I have always been driven by a desire to help others learn and grow. Whether I'm working on a design project or finding new ways to make content more innovative and engaging, I love the challenge of taking on complex problems and finding creative solutions.
